Megan Morris is such a ray of light!
Beautiful, the most unforgettable, lovable laugh, fashion forward and an inspirational business woman. You’d be forgiven for thinking that a woman with this much success may be hard to get to know but I’m pleased to say she is all of the things that her ‘persona’ represents, genuine, generous and a great friend to so many.
I told Megan this am before we went live on “Megans TV’, that one of the things I love about her is that she is so sincere in a world where so many people are trying to be what they think they world wants them to be, she is a true testament to just being yourself.
When Samantha messaged me from Megans office, asking if I’d come on Megans TV I was thrilled and honored! My tennis team mate wanted to chat with me about my 52 Week Portrait project and winning ‘Best in Show’ at the Windermere Art Affair, I’m still getting over the surprise at that. We also talked about portrait photography, the creativity the inspiration behind what I do and also how she adopts a similar approach in her staging business.
Samantha gave me a list of the questions and I thought about my answers, I had my make up professionally applied by the lovely Joanie from Prive Salon and got myself down to the fabulous studio… Then the nerves kicked in. Now, some people get quiet when they are nervous, not I, quite the opposite. 😳
Consciously trying not to talk over Megan, my biggest flaw, I hate that about myself, trying to stay on track, trying not to swear, sucking my stomach in and OMG there are three cameras on us and two men looking quite serious on the other side of the glass! (I’m sure I sound like a blathering idiot.) Megan is smiling and she laughs her beautiful big contagious laugh, she’s made for this, she makes you feel comfortable, I hope my clients feel as comfortable as she made me feel today.
It was fun.. if only I could be paid to talk, ’cause I can talk about anything!
