The October wedding of Danielle & Stephen was a beautiful & romantic affair.

With flowers from the wonderful Paula Rooney Weddings, candles littered the floor, windowsills, table tops..every texture, scent you can imagine had been artfully arranged and considered.

A black tie wedding with a classic and elegant theme I thoroughly enjoyed photographing their day.

Danielle wore a custom made gown from Surrey Brides that had a distinct nod towards the gown worn by HRH Duchess of Cambridge.  Danielle wore it exceptionally well and looked stunning.

With her lovely blonde locks in a loose undo and simple make up she was a beautiful bride and check out those Tom Ford shoes..just WOW!

Black Tie is my favourite attire for weddings and the one that we chose for our own wedding day, it is effortlessly classy, easy to wear and everyone looks great, it is especially charming on the Pageboys!  Stephen added his own twist by choosing a cream cravat and waistcoat and looked very handsome, a bit like Robbie Williams don’t you think?

The service took place at St Andrews in Chobham, Surrey then on to the private members exclusive golf club, Queenwood.  A venue I am very familiar with and where I first started working with Paula Rooney who is now their resident florist.  Their 5 star service is incredible and the house and marquee were wonderful for their day.  The stunning contemporary marquee was supplied by Four Seasons Marquees, they had a wonderful live band, DJ, Sushi & Cocktail bar and the cake was a real showstopper made by the incredible chefs at Queenwood.

The transport was also a conversation piece with the Bridal party arriving in the wonderful vintage cars, the bride in her carriage which later took the newlyweds to the reception and the remaining guests travelled by Red Double Decker Bus..a first down the driveway at Queenwood I am sure!

The rain was torrential in the morning so arriving at the church was hurried and a bit damp but that didn’t spoil the mood or atmosphere, by the time the vows had been exchanged the sun shone and the remainder of the day was just perfect.
